Lorenzo Moor was born in Sorengo (Lugano) on 3 August 1966. After completing the secondary schools and junior college in Lugano, where he obtained the federal maturity diploma in 1985, he studied law at the University of Zurich graduating in 1991.
After completing his legal and notarial clerking in the law offices of Bolla Bonzanigo & Associati (1994-1996), Mr. Moor was admitted to the Ticino Bar In 1996. In 1996 he earned a doctorate at the University of Zurich with a dissertation on international corporate law (Das italienische internationale Gesellschaftsrecht, Schweizer Studien zum internationalen Recht 97, Zurigo 1997), and in 2000 he obtained his license to practice as a (civil law) notary.
Mr. Moor is a partner in the law Firm since 2003.
Among his favourite areas of endeavour are banking law and commercial law in general, arbitration and international private law, civil law and administrative law.
Mr. Moor is fluent in Italian, German, French and English. He also has good knowledge of Spanish.
